Brick for desktop?
J
Joe Harris
I don't know how, but it would be great to consider a way to integrate desktop/laptops into the plan because, of course, when the phone is down, you go to the computer (like when the whisky bottle is empty, you go to get a beer)

Use One Device as a "Brick Hub" to Control Others
J
Jorge Santilan
The ability to use one device as a central "hub" to brick other devices.
For example, in a perfect setup, I could use my iPhone to brick my iPad or even my PC or Mac. There could also be browser extensions for even more control. Just use your phone to Brick or Un-Brick devices or features on those devices.
This new "Brick Hub" app could let me:
-Set permissions for which devices it can control
-Schedule when other devices get bricked
-Easily manage screen time across all my devices from one place
-Block your iPhone as normal, with added capabilities

App or device that works with Macbooks and PC?

I love the Brick but find my computer can be most distracting since I do most of my work on there. Like if there was some way to block apps or websites. Perhaps a VPN type thing?

Please make a Brick that is compatible with Apple MacBooks! I would buy it right up immediately!

Using brick across devices
JA
What if we use brick on a computer/MacBook, iPad/tablet, and other devices so that when I'm using different devices, I can focus on doing my work instead of finding another way to get distracted on another device? It would be beneficial for students, kids, parents, and professionals to be able to brick across devices instead of only iPhones or Android.

Brick websites on computer

Every time I open my computer, all I feel is the mental weight of the open internet. I feel the weight of all the budgeting, organizing, housekeeping tasks, and distractions that pull me away from the creative work I'm trying to do. Whether I give in to the distractions or not, the weight is still there. I need to know they are not an option. I haven't made any progress in my creative work because of how vast and wide my computer's scope is. I can't focus in on just the one task by making everything else impossible. But that is the beauty of what has happened with my phone. Everything but the core tasks are impossible, and the heaviness is completely gone when using my phone. My phone doesn't feel like a burden anymore. Please create a way to utilize my brick with my computer, a way where my computer can be a place of function and peace too. Thank you so much for your consideration.

Brick for MacOS
M
Maria
Not sure if this is even possible, but I would love compatibility for Mac computers. I have found that if my phone is bricked, I spend a lot more time online via my computer. I've tried the usual blockers that are supported on Mac/Chrome but they are just so easy to bypass vs. the physical barrier of the Brick. Please consider this as an option!!

You could control the bricking through the phone app. That is, if the phone is bricked, your computer behaves the same way.

Cool idea! This would probably be more of a premium-type feature I'd guess. Macbooks don't have a built-in NFC reader, which would mean you'd probably have to use your phone to brick/unbrick your computer. That would mean that their app, which is free and pretty self-contained, would have to be overhauled to communicate with some kind of web app somewhere to sync with your laptop. Still, I think I'd pay a modest monthly fee for that type of feature.

Oh. My. Gosh. I was just thinking that same thing! Great minds, Maria!
