There should be a way to also set an automatic timer to brick after so many minutes/hours of unbricking. That way you can intentionally unbrick for only a set amount of time.

Any updates on this??

Ed Poe I am interested as well in this question, if it is planned shortly, I will buy it

Yes! I was surprised scheduling wasn’t already a feature. It would make brick SO much more useful
Kerri Denton
This would be a game changer! I try to brick from 7pm to 12pm each day, but it would be nice to be able to schedule it.

Wanted this for a year now. It’s such a simple ask with no execution. I’m starting to think this product has no roadmap for feature improvements.

This one is a must. A scheduled brick keeps me accountable. My screen time is still pretty high because I have to remember to unbrick/brick.

I would love to be able to set a schedule that I can’t bypass unless I scan the brick. I had assumed that this was a feature already baked in as it is a staple in just about every other app that manages screen time. Having to tap the brick to lock/unlock gives me one more reason to have to pick up my phone and poke around in apps, which is what I’m trying to prevent. An automatic schedule removes that need. I want the brick to act as the key, not the door itself, essentially

Add brick mode to shortcuts

Use cases:
- I want to start every day bricked, so could use an automation to do so.
- I want to map my quick action button on my iPhone 15 to bricking, so no matter what app I’m in I can instantly brick

Thanks for this suggestion - it helps our team a ton!
- Merging this with a scheduling feature request that would help with this
- We appreciate this idea and will look into this!

Reynold Hamar Do you have an ETA on when this might be implemented?

Modes allow brick and unbrick by time
Sara Bauer
Allow modes to set times for bricking and unbricking instead of time limits. For example, mindfulness mode could allow 1 hour of access to all apps in the evening for 2 hours, at a regular time of your choosing. Others modes can be set to have no access at all.
